Prevenge; second take
Ok, so looks like we are all going to be riding the Prevenge train this challenge, but fortunately it's an enjoyable trip. This pregnancy film about a mother to-be borders on comedic while still driving home the terrifying idea that pregnant women "have absolutely no control over [their] bodies now." No wasted downtime in this flick - it gets right to the point and moves along tidily. Great dialogue.
Also, I now have Crime Without Passion added to my list of movies to see, some weird looking old classic that the main character watches and replays in her head a few times.

LOL Scene: when Ruth fakes taking a shot
Grossest ever: DJ Dan
I believe I'm next on this movie. Looks like a fun ride!
ReplyDeleteDJ Dan seem like he had a coke problem, kept pinching his nose. Also was his testicle falling out a representation of pregnancy?
ReplyDeleteHmmmm I have a hard time equating anything testicular as pregnancy related. But I really liked that part altogether.
DeleteHahahah ok on second thought- I GUESS testicles play some role in getting pregnant.
DeleteI was reading about the actress/director and she was saying she got tired of being told that she wouldn't get a part in a movie being pregnant. So she made her own which was Prevenge.
